Hard Luck Revival is a country Western band from Houston, Texas.

Hard Luck Revival is a Country Western band with a sound that creates a musical melting pot of Gulf Coast Blues, Outlaw Country, Bluegrass, Honky-Toni, Tejano, and Cajun, with a dash of rock and roll thrown in.

Members include Mike Porterfield-lead vocals and guitar, Ray Cherry- bass, Rajiv Grover- drums, Marty Starns- fiddle and harmonica, and Dave DaVegas rounding out the band’s unique sound with lead guitar, banjo, mandolin, and acoustic guitar.

The band has opened for a number of well-known musicians including Joe King Carrasco, The Derailers, Shinyribs, and Jesse Dayton. In addition, they have shared bills with Mike Stinson, Jason James, The Waymores, and Dale Watson.
